For what it’s worth, this time last year the Rangers were 38-46.
Being .500 last week felt worse than it was. Especially because they could’ve/should’ve won the first game in the Seattle series (I swear the ball Seager hit in the 11th would’ve dropped for any other team/player but of course not for them.)
At least they knew well enough to win the game that Adrian Beltre was present for.
Saturday’s Texas Rangers Hall of Fame induction of Elvis Andrus had me so nostalgic. For the teams he was on, his and Beltre’s antics, Colby freaking Lewis; the Mitch Moreland, to Michael Young, to Elvis, to Beltre first pitch? Perfection!
