Penn State baseball landed another player from the transfer portal on Tuesday.

Right-handed pitcher Colin Fitzgerald announced he will be returning to his home state for his final season.

The Lititz, Pennsylvania, native brings a lot of experience to the Nittany Lion’s pitching staff. Over his three seasons with Maine, he pitched 199 innings and started in 31 of his 45 appearances.

In 88.2 innings pitched last season, Fitzgerald finished with a 5.68 ERA, 78 strikeouts and allowed 33 walks and 106 hits.
