Former Sullivan East standout Hunter Stratton has been traded to the Atlanta Braves in exchange for an outfielder and cash considerations. Stratton, who has been assigned to Triple-A Gwinnett, is working his way back from an injury and has pitched in just three games this season.
If Stratton can make a successful return to the big leagues with the Braves, he could join the team when they play in Bristol on August 2nd in the Speedway Classic.
