RAPID CITY, S.D. – Most baseball teams experience periods of both success and struggles at some point throughout the season.
The Post 320 Stars are a perfect example.
After winning 13 games in a row earlier this season, the Stars have lost 10 out of their last 11 games.
Post 320 was hoping to get back on a winning streak on Tuesday as the Stars hosted Brandon Valley Post 131 in a doubleheader.
Unfortunately, Brandon Valley swept the Stars by scores of 13-7 and 11-1.
Post 320 is now 21-21 on the season.
The Stars will travel to Spearfish on Thursday, July 3 to play Post 164.
Sturgis Post 33 Titans sweep Spearfish Post 164
Sturgis hosted Spearfish in a doubleheader on Tuesday at Strong Field.
The Titans rolled over Spearfish in the first game, 8-1.
The second game was much closer.
With it tied at 7-7, George Hamer singled in the bottom of the seventh scoring the game winning run and Sturgis defeated Spearfish, 8-7.
