Tonight’s game between the New York Mets and Milwaukee Brewers at Citi Field has been postponed due to inclement weather, the Mets have announced. The two teams will play a split doubleheader tomorrow with first pitch scheduled for 1:10pm for Game 1 and 7:10pm for Game 2. Fans holding paid tickets for the game originally scheduled to be played today will be able to use them for Game 1 of tomorrow’s doubleheader.
Carlos Mendoza did have his pregame press conference and gave some updates on injured Mets. Kodai Senga threw to hitters on Sunday and will throw a bullpen this week. He could begin a rehab assignment next week if all goes well. Jesse Winker is scheduled to play today and tomorrow with an off day on Thursday. Mendoza is hopeful that Winker can play with Syracuse as soon as this weekend.
