The Baltimore Orioles will have an American League starter playing in the 2025 MLB All-Star game in Atlanta.
1B/OF Ryan O’Hearn has been named the American League’s All-Star starting designated hitter, marking O’Hearn’s first time as an MLB All-Star.
O’Hearn, 31, is enjoying a career best season power wise, with an .854 OPS and 11 home runs through his first 72 games.
His previous career high in home runs is 15, which he hit just last season.
For an Orioles team that has struggled with consistency in 2025, O’Hearn has been a bright spot, batting .295 while driving in 30 runs and crossing the plate 34 times himself.
Now, he will hit the national stage representing Baltimore in the MLB-All Star game in Atlanta, Georgia on July 15.
