EDON — Wauseon scored in each of the first three innings, including six runs in the second, to coast to a 12-2 nonleague win over Edon Friday night.

Jack Altstaetter racked up three hits, including two doubles and a home run, with two RBI to lead the Indians. Thad Reckner also had three hits with two RBI, Caleb Kissel singled twice, walked twice and drove in a run and Max Russell had one hit with a game-high three RBI.

Camden Sherman earned the win, allowing two runs and four hits with three walks and five strikeouts across seven innings.

Wauseon (5-10) travels to Napoleon for a nonleague game today at noon.

SWANTON — Swanton scored seven runs on just six hits Friday, taking advantage of three errors to score a 7-5 win over Edgerton.

Luke Marlow had a team-high two hits for Swanton, while Carsen Lemons and Drake Harris both singled once and knocked in a pair of runs.

Adam Lemon picked up the win, allowing three runs and four hits with one walk and six strikeouts in 4 2/3 innings. Evan Reinhard earned the save, allowing three hits with four strikeouts in 2 innings of relief.

Swanton, now 14-5 overall, travels to Perkins today.

DELTA — With the score deadlocked at 1 through four innings, Delta poured on four runs in the fifth inning and held off Antwerp the rest of the way for a 7-4 nonleague win Friday.

Brady Morr ripped two singles with two RBI to lead the Panthers, while Jadon Lohman (2B) and Gary Valentine both tallied two hits. Gabe Cansky added a double and a walk.

Morr earned the win, allowing four runs — three earned — and three hits with six walks and nine strikeouts.

Delta, which improved to 6-9, hosts Paulding today.

NAPOLEON — Napoleon plated a run in each of the first two innings Friday, but Perrysburg responded with multi-run innings in each of the final four frames as the Wildcats fell 10-4 in a Northern Lakes League crossover game at Booster Field.

Rowan Bostelman, who came off the bench to pitch in relief, led the Cats’ offense with a double and two RBI. Cal Bickel and Paul Sausser both singled and drove in a run.

Bickel suffered the loss, allowing four runs — two earned — and seven hits with four walks and three strikeouts across five innings.

Napoleon, now 12-5 overall, hosts Wauseon in nonleague play today at noon.

ARCHBOLD — Archbold plated a run in the first inning Friday, but the Bluestreaks went scoreless the rest of the way in an 11-1 six-inning loss to Montpelier.

Tripp Langenderfer singled and doubled to lead Archbold, while CJ Arroyo-Thompson singled with an RBI.

Wyatt Cline took the loss, allowing seven runs — six earned — and seven hits with seven walks and five strikeouts across five innings.

Archbold (11-7) travels to Anthony Wayne today for a pair of games against the Generals and Ottawa Hills.
