OU softball added a freshman star to an already stacked pitching lineup for next season.

Miali Guachino announced Tuesday her transfer to OU softball. Guachino earned freshman All-American honors in her lone season at Ole Miss, where she helped lead the Rebels to their first Women’s College World Series this season.

Guachino went 14-11 with a 3.65 ERA last season. She set a program-record 19 strikeouts in a single game against Southern Miss. She also struck out 160 batters this season in 136 innings of work.

OU coach Patty Gasso potentially has a clear vision of what her pitching rotation will look like in 2026.

Earlier this transfer cycle, the Sooners picked up LSU transfer Sydney Berzon, a two-time All-American who is expected to be the Sooners’ ace next season.

Along with the two stellar SEC transfers, the Sooners are also bringing in incoming freshmen arms Allyssa Parker, Berkeley Zache and Sophia Bordi.
