ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – The Atlanta Braves host the Baltimore Orioles on Friday, July 4, for the first of three games, marking the eighth of 15 regular season games broadcast live on Gray Media.
Spencer Strider takes the mound for Atlanta, tossing seven innings of two-run ball in his last start against the Philadelphia Phillies. The other side of the ball? Charlie Morton, a former Braves who, at 41, is still pitching in the big leagues with the Orioles, owning a 5.63 ERA and 1.57 WHIP in 72 innings this season.
Following this series against the Orioles, the Braves travel to Sacramento and St. Louis to play the Athletics and Cardinals before the All-Star break.
