Richland 4, Bedford 3: In Bedford, a pair of two-run innings in the fifth and sixth pushed the 56ers past the Hurricanes for their first victory of the season Thursday.

Brady Manges totaled two hits for Richland. Lucas Turner doubled and drove in two runs. Turner struck out four batters and did not permit a run over the final three innings to earn the victory. Bradyn Jarvis fanned six and allowed one run in three frames.

Bedford’s Ty Decker drove in two runs. Bedford was limited to three singles.

Hollidaysburg-Gold 9, St. Michael 4: In Sidman, Vince Boland struck out nine batters and went the distance as the visitors beat the Saints.

Hollidaysburg-Gold collected three runs in the fifth to lead 5-0. After St. Michael responded with three in the fifth and one in the sixth, the visitors supplied four in the seventh to break away.

Connor Pike produced two hits, including a double, and three RBIs. Hollidaysburg-Gold totaled 12 walks and 10 stolen bases. Boland, Alex Glasgow, Mack Layton and Mason Mierley each stole two bases.

St. Michael’s Kaden Christ doubled and drove in a run. Easton Slanoc plated two runs.
