Davis gave up a whopping 10 earned runs on six hits in Friday’s series opener against Houston. Simply put, the right-hander’s 47-pitch performance was a nightmare.

The Dodgers’ 10 runs allowed in the sixth inning were the most the team has allowed in an inning since April 23, 1999 when they allowed 11 runs in the third inning to the St. Louis Cardinals.

Davis returns to Triple-A Oklahoma City with a ballooned ERA of 19.50 across six innings of work in the big leagues this season.

Little made his Major League debut against the San Diego Padres on June 19. The right-hander allowed two earned runs on four hits against the Friars.

Most notably, Little hit Fernando Tatis Jr. in the ninth inning of the series finale at Dodger Stadium. The hit by pitch served as the catalyst for benches clearing and both managers being ejected.

Once again, Little will be tasked with pitching against a bitter rival in just his second stint in the big leagues should the Dodgers choose to deploy him from the bullpen.

The Dodgers suffered an 18-1 loss to the Astros Friday, but look to bounce back in the second game of the three-game set over the holiday weekend.
