Jazz Chisholm has admitted he doesn’t like third base, that he’s naturally a second baseman.
The New York Yankees are definitely trying to get him back to the other side of the infield based on the moves they’re making.

After signing Nicky Lopez, the Yankees made another addition on Saturday: They signed Jeimer Candelario.
Candelario was recently released by the Reds before he could finish off his three-year, $45 million contract.
He is a few years removed from his most productive big league seasons, but the 31-year old switch-hitter can still pack some pop in his bat.
He was actually born in New York City, which makes this move potentially even cooler.

Candelario is being assigned to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. There, he’ll try to prove he deserves a call-up.

In his career, Candelario is a .237 hitter with 110 homers and a .726 OPS.
He has played 10 big league seasons, appearing for the Tigers, Cubs, Reds and Nationals.
He’s hoping his next stop is Yankee Stadium.
