Well, Nique Clifford does have that basketball career to fall back on.

The former Colorado State star threw out the first pitch at the A’s game in Sacramento on July 5.

Clifford and fellow Sacramento Kings 2025 NBA draft pick Maxime Raynaud were hosted by the A’s to throw out the ceremonial first pitch.

Baseball might not be in Clifford’s future.

But on the court he’s doing just fine. Clifford was picked in the first round with No. 24 pick by the Kings in late June.

Clifford is expected begin his NBA career in the summer league in Las Vegas, beginning July 10.
