Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder James Outman is with the team in Milwaukee, hinting at a potential roster move.

He would likely be joining the team as a temporary replacement for Teoscar Hernandez or Kiké Hernandez, who are both dealing with injuries.
Teoscar Hernandez is dealing with soreness in his left foot after fouling a ball off his foot Saturday. He was not in the lineup for the Dodgers’ series finale Sunday, and underwent scans that came back clean.
Kiké Hernandez has left elbow soreness, and was not available to come off the bench Sunday. The injury has plagued the utility man for a month.

The Dodgers kick off a three-game set against the Milwaukee Brewers Monday, and it’s unclear whether Outman will be part of the taxi squad or get called up.
Nevertheless, Outman’s arrival in Milwaukee could indicate a player is headed for the injured list as manager Dave Roberts revealed a roster move was likely.
Outman joined the Dodgers earlier this season when Teoscar Hernandez landed on the IL with a groin strain in May. The outfielder hit .125 with two home runs, four runs batted in, and an OPS of .597 across 24 at-bats during his time with the big league team.
With Triple-A Oklahoma City this season, James is hitting .289 with 20 home runs, 74 RBIs, and an .970 OPS across 284 at-bats. He also has 14 stolen bases.
The Houston Astros swept the Dodgers over the weekend, and L.A. will need to bounce back on the road against the Brewers.
