Greetings, Vocal readers, subscribers, and everyone! It’s been nearly two years since my beloved Texas Rangers won their first World Series title in franchise history. The night of November 1, 2023 was a moment that I’ll remember forever. I was on Cloud 9 and when Josh Sborz recorded the final out in the World Series against the Arizona Diamondbacks in Game 5, I screamed with excitement and joy. Goodbye, heartbreak and no more talks about 2011 ever again. When your team wins a World Series title for the first time ever or in years, it’s a huge deal, not only as a fan, but for their respective city. If you’re a Rangers fan or a baseball fan in general, you’re in for a treat. For the first time, I’ll be showing off my numerous jerseys. Owning a baseball jersey is like a woman buying a pair of heels. Not sure how I came up with that comparison, but you get the idea. Without further ado, let’s get started!
Max Scherzer World Series Jersey

Max Scherzer is currently playing for the Toronto Blue Jays, but there’s no denying that he’ll be a first-ballot Hall of Famer someday. Why? He’s a two-time World Series Champion, a three-time Cy Young Award winner, and an eight-time All-Star. The man that they call Mad Max has been in the league for nearly 20 years and he is and will always be one of my favorite players. To me, he’s a legend. Back to the jersey: I purchased this online via MLB Shop in the early morning hours of Valentine’s Day 2024. They had a sale and I took advantage of it. I wore this on Opening Day, along with my Batting Practice hat (shown above). Finally, let’s admire that World Series Champions patch. When your team wins a World Series title, they wear a patch for the following regular season. Despite being a die-hard Rangers fan for almost 25 years and attending my first Rangers game at 13, I’ve never owned a baseball jersey. This was my very first one and on the day that it arrived, I was eager to try it on. When I did, it felt so good on me. It was almost like wearing a superhero cape.
Corey Seager Gold-Trimmed World Series Jersey

The next jersey is something I received by accident, but it happened to be a lucky accident. Originally, I ordered a Gold themed Max Scherzer World Series t-shirt, which I received days later. I never expected to also receive a jersey, the one I’m currently discussing. You can’t see it, but the front of the jersey has gold trimmed on the Rangers logo, as well on the back of it. Plus, shades of gold on the patch and MLB logo. I bought this jersey a month or so after I received the previous jersey. Also, I’m wearing a World Series Champions cap with the Rangers logo in gold.
Josh Jung World Series Jersey

For the final entry on my list, I’m showcasing my Josh Jung World Series Jersey. For those who aren’t baseball fans, his name is pronounced Young. It rhymes with sung. It’s easy to remember. I bought this several months ago on eBay and while it’s not the best jersey, it’s one I don’t mind wearing. It goes well with any Rangers hat, just like the one I previously discussed. Hopefully, I’ll find a much nicer one soon within my price range.
If you have a Texas Rangers player’s jersey that you would like to recommend to me, please share it in the comments below. In the meantime, make sure you give this story a like, subscribe to my page on here, and generously leave a one-off tip to reward me for bringing you new stories here on Vocal.
