Brandon Lowe and Ha-Seong Kim Both Out of Monday Lineup

Tampa Bay Rays infielders Brandon Lowe (side) and Ha-Seong Kim (calf) are both absent from their team’s lineup against the Detroit Tigers on Monday. This will be Kim’s third consecutive missed game after being activated from the injured list for his 2025 debut on Friday. Lowe was pulled early from Tampa Bay’s 7-5 victory on Sunday over the Minnesota Twins. He’s been one of the Rays’ most valuable hitters so far, slashing .272/.324/.487 with 19 home runs, 50 RBI, and 50 runs scored in 343 plate appearances. Neither player has been placed on the injured list yet, so the team is clearly hoping that a day or two of rest will allow each to rejoin the lineup.–Will Brady
