The 29th annual Colorado Brewers Rendezvous will take over Riverside Park from 1 to 5 p.m. July 12, with more than 65 brewers from around the state setting up to share their craft with attendees.

The Colorado Brewers Guild hosts the Rendezvous in conjunction with Salida’s Heart of the Rockies Chamber of Commerce.

Chea Franz, media contact for the guild, said this year, “The Colorado Brewers Guild would be remiss not to pay tribute to the late Lori Roberts, a beloved friend who has been instrumental to this festival since the first one held in 1997. As we approach the 29th anniversary of the Colorado Brewers Rendezvous, we would like to raise a glass to Lori.”

Tickets to the event are $50 for locals, only available at the chamber of commerce, 406 W. U.S. 50. To purchase a local ticket, proof of residency is required, and only checks or exact cash are accepted. Those tickets are available at the chamber until sold out.

General admission tickets are $70.29 and include a take-home glass and admission to the festival. VIP tickets are $139.56 and include an hour-early entry into the park, a private shaded area, taster glass, lunch voucher for the event food trucks, a $5 off coupon toward any Colorado Brewers Rendezvous merchandise at the entry tent and access to private bathrooms. Designated-driver tickets are available for $24.11 and allow the ticket holder to enter the festival and enjoy all nonalcoholic options available at the festival. All tickets can be purchased online at Salidachamber.ticketsauce.com/e/29th-annual-brewers-rendezvous-2.

“The selection of Colorado breweries that attend the Brewers Rendezvous changes every year, and this year is no exception. We have breweries traveling to Salida from across the state, from the Western Slope, the mountain regions and throughout the Front Range. We’re excited to be able to rendezvous with all of our member breweries throughout the festival weekend. This is a true reunion for many people in the industry,” Franz said.

Sponsors for this year’s Rendezvous are Monarch Mountain, Renewal by Anderson, Full Circle Real Estate Group, High Country Bank, Rooster Pie Printing, CBG and the chamber of commerce.
