CINCINNATI (WKRC) – Funeral arraignments have announced for former reds great and future baseball hall of famer Dave Parker.
The public visitation will begin at 4 p.m. Thursday at Corinthian Baptist Church on Tennessee Avenue in Bond Hill.
The funeral will follow at 6.
Parker grew up in Cincinnati and was a star at the former Courter Tech High School
That led to 16-seasons in the majors, including three with the Reds and 10 with the Pittsburgh Pirates.
The player known as “The Cobra” will be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame later this month.
Parker died last month after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease.
He was 74.
