Evanston Outlaws senior Ryder Wilson has signed his National Letter of Intent to play baseball at Barstow Community College. Wilson is a four-year starter for Evanston. He has earned all-conference and all-state honors during his career with the Outlaws. Wilson was named second-team all-conference in 2023 and was selected first-team all-conference and second-team all-state in 2024. He has been the lead-off batter and centerfielder for most of his Evanston career.
This year, Wilson has helped the Outlaws to a 22-19-2 overall record and a 5-1 mark in conference games thus far. He missed a month of this season with an injury but is back in the lineup. This year, Ryder has a .321 batting average with 17 hits, 11 RBIs, and 19 runs scored. His on-base percentage is .455, and Wilson has an OPS of .851. Defensively, he has a .977 fielding percentage with 39 putouts.
The 2024 season saw Wilson hit .377 with 55 total his and 28 RBIs. His on-base percentage was .459, he had an OPS of .939, and scored 52 runs. On defense, Wilson had a .965 fielding percentage and 48 putouts. That earned him all-state and all-conference nods.

In 2023, Wilson had a .321 batting average with an on-base percentage of .424 and an OPS of .811. He finished that season with 44 hits, 25 RBIs, and scored 47 runs. Ryder had a .971 fielding percentage and recorded 64 putouts.
Barstow Community College is in Barstow, CA. The Vikings are members of the Western States Conference (WSC), which is part of the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA).
