LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) – Dayne and Cullen Martin announced where they will take their talents and compete at the collegiate level on Wednesday. Dayne announced he will be playing baseball for Louisiana State University in Alexandria and Cullen will be suiting up for Bossier Parish Community College next season.
“I’ve always wanted to play baseball at the next level,” Dayne said. “It is like a dream comes true.”
Both former Tigers say they are excited for the future and are grateful for their time at Pitkin.
Cullen says he believes the experience has gotten him ready for the next level. “Being at Pitkin and competing for State Championships, winning two of them, has prepared me for any situation I have yet to face and can’t wait for it.”
Both Dayne and Cullen Martin helped Pitkin win their 14th State Championship in 2025 beating Family Community Christian 9-6 in the championship game.
