Mizzou baseball secured a commitment from Texas transfer Donovan Jordan, the outfielder announced Thursday on social media.

“All in. MIZ,” Jordan wrote in a post on Instagram.

Jordan redshirted his freshman season with the Longhorns, announcing his departure from the program into the transfer portal June 2.

The 6-foot-1 Jordan attended Summer Creek High School in Humble, Texas, ranking No. 429 nationally, No. 73 positionally and No. 38 overall in Texas, according to Perfect Game’s Class of 2024 rankings.

Jordan is currently playing for the San Luis Obispo Blues in the California Collegiate League, batting .320 with 24 hits, three doubles and nine RBI. He has also stolen four bases.

Jordan is the fifth transfer portal addition for the Tigers this offseason, joining former Camdenton standout Kam Durnin (Wichita State), Jamal George (Texas A&M), Jase Woita (South Carolina) and Keyler Gonzalez (Nova Southeastern).

Mizzou looks to bounce back in the 2026 campaign after finishing 16-39 overall and 3-27 in Southeastern Conference last season.
