The official cap company of the MLB, New Era, introduced a new line of fitted caps for the season. However, the design of the Texas Rangers hat was so bad that it had to be removed from the MLB and Rangers online stores, which are operated by Fanatics.

So why did the Texas Rangers and MLB remove this hat? New Era’s latest design features all 30 teams with a standard cap logo superimposed over their jersey logos.
The classic Rangers hat features a “T” logo. But in this case, the new hat features “TEXAS” with a large “T” over the “X” spelling out a vulgar Spanish slang term about a woman’s body part.
