Now, the Royals will play both the second and third games of the three-game series on Thursday. The first will begin at 1:10 p.m.
Initially, the game was only delayed due to rain. However, the Royals say the game is being moved entirely “due to an abundance of caution.”
The Royals will look to sweep the Rockies in a doubleheader on Thursday. While they barely squeaked out a win last night, April 22, in the 11th inning, the Rockies currently have the worst record in baseball at 4-18. The Royals sit at 10-14 currently.
FOX4’s weather team says that the games for Thursday should be in the clear in terms of weather.
