Happy Sunday! An eventful day at the ballpark yet again today as the Chicago White Sox take on the Cleveland Guardians in the final game of this four game set. As the 2005 festivities draw to an end, this will be the final matchup for each team before the All-Star break this week, and the White Sox look to get in the win column to close out the first part of the season.

Aaron Civale is on the mound for the White Sox against Joey Cantillo. Civale is 1-6 with a 5.17 ERA, and with the White Sox hasn’t had the best start. Brewers fans seem to be quite happy that they won the trade as of right now, but hopefully Civale can start performing a little better so we don’t start shaking our heads. In his last start against the Toronto Blue Jays, he went just four innings with seven hits, five runs, and no strikeouts.

Cantillo was brought up from AAA earlier this month for the Guardians, and has appeared in 23 games this season, two of those times as as starting pitcher and 21 times as a relief pitcher. It looks like the Guardians will give way to their bullpen today and look to get a good few innings of long relief from Cantillo to start. His last outing against the Houston Astros was 4 innings with five hits, three runs, three walks, and seven strikeouts.

Still no Kyle Teel and Edgar Quero in the lineup together, but other than that Will Venable rolls out a solid lineup for the afternoon.

And shoutout to the giveaways this weekend, with this one to cap it off today.

Game time is at 1:10 p.m. CT, and you can watch on CHSN. Catch the game with Len and DJ on the radio on ESPN1000.
