Day one of the 2025 MLB draft has come and gone and plenty of area college players were selected by major league teams.
Oklahoma pitcher Kyson Witherspoon was the top player from an area college after the Boston Red Sox took him with the No. 15 pick in the first-round of the draft.

Carmichael, a junior, was named a first-team All-American in his final season with the Oklahoma Sooners this spring.
Glasspool and Cash became the first all-British winners of the title since Pat Hughes and Raymond Tuckey in 1936.
