LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Dodgers repeated history by selecting another pitcher and outfielder in the second and third rounds of the 2025 MLB Draft.

With the 65th overall pick in the draft the Dodgers selected right-handed pitcher Cam Leiter out of Florida State.

Leiter missed the 2025 season after suffering an injury in March 2024, but has shown tremendous upside. When healthy, Leiter has shown tremendous zip in his fastball, that sits between 94-96 but can go higher and generates a 30% miss rate (according to Baseball America). Leiter boasts multiple sharp breaking balls: a curveball and a slider that verges on a cutter when thrown at top speed (according to Baseball America).

In the third round, the Dodgers selected outfielder Landyn Vidourek with the 104th overall pick of the draft. Vidourek finished the 2025 season slugging .576 with a .434 OBP. Standing at six-foot-two and weighing 185 lbs, Vidourek presents as a high-upside hitter with considerable power and speed to boot. In addition to his extra-base hits, Vidourek stole a college-career high 39 stolen bases.

The two picks round out the first four rounds of the draft for the Dodgers as they look ahead to the remainder of the draft tomorrow.
