The New York Mets‘ final game before the All-Star break is being delayed by rain in Kansas City.
The Royals announced: “Due to inclement weather, the start of this afternoon’s game vs. the New York Mets has been delayed.”
The team later announced the game is now scheduled to start at 2:50 p.m.
Earlier in the day, the Mets activated Sean Manaea from the injured list, and Austin Warren has been optioned to Triple-A.
Clay Holmes is set to start for New York facing Noah Cameron for KC.
