The Baltimore Orioles wrapped up the second and final day of the MLB Draft this evening from Atlanta and the All-Star week.
The O’s had seven selections last night, with four of those before the second round even started. The Birds ended the draft today with rounds four through 20.
The O’s drafted 24 players in total with 21 of those college players, including their first three selections all being college hitters and the first two catchers with 1st rounder Ike Irish (Auburn) at 19th overall and Caden Bodine as a compensatory selection out of Coastal Carolina with the 30th selection.
The Orioles ended the draft with a run on pitchers on the second day selecting 11, with 13 total pitchers between the two draft days. Only three high school players.
