Oregon State baseball bids farewell to a number of its star players which led the team to the 2025 College World Series.

A pair of University of Portland players also made it in with Curtis Hebert (RHP/INF) being picked up by the Houston Astros at No. 606 in the 20th round. Pilots catcher Tyler Howard was also drafted at No. 342 in the 11th round.

Sunset High School’s star pitcher Kruz Schoolcraft was drafted by the San Diego Padres No. 25 overall on Sunday. He is joined by another Oregon youngster, Summit High’s Slater de Brun (OF/LHP) who was chosen by the Baltimore Orioles as the 37th pick.

Lake Oswego, Ore. native AJ Russell was drafted by the Texas Rangers as the 52nd pick in the second round. Before pitching for Tennessee, he attended Lakeridge High School for his freshman and sophomore years.
