A decade of excellence on the diamond will be celebrated Tuesday evening as the Gibbs Construction Cardinals take on NOCA at 5 p.m. at Mike Miley Stadium.
The game will be streamed live on Crescent City Sports.
The Cardinals program was launched in 2016 by Danny Riehm and in that short span, they have claimed three state championships in American Legion, a trip to the 2019 Legion World Series, a 2023 regional victory in Connie Mack Baseball, and most recently, the 18U title at the Grand Slam World Series in Panama City, Florida, last July.
Tuesday’s game will serve as a tune-up for the Cardinals’ defense of their GSWS title next week.
Gibbs Construction has sponsored the Cardinals for the last six seasons.
The anniversary game was originally scheduled for last week but was postponed because of wet grounds.
