The Arizona Diamondbacks drafted Georgia Bulldogs baseball pitcher Brian Curley in the third round of the 2025 MLB draft. The Diamondbacks selected Curley with the No. 92 pick in the draft, which is valued at $839k according to MLB.com.
Curley is a right-handed pitcher. The 5-foot-10, 210-pound pitcher is ranked as MLB.com’s No. 102 prospect in the draft. Curley is 22 years old and spent the 2025 college baseball season with Georgia after spending the first two seasons of his career at VCU.

Curley helped Georgia earn the No. 7 national seed during his junior season (2025) at Georgia. He made 17 appearances including 10 starts. Curley posted a 4-4 record, two saves and an ERA of 3.55 across 66 innings in 2025. Curley allowed a batting average of just .179 and allowed 27 walks. He finished 2025 with a team-best 85 strikeouts.
Curley started out the year as a late-inning reliever, but became one of Georgia’s starters in mid-March. Curley made the 2025 All-SEC second team.

The Pittsburgh Pirates selected him in the 16th round of the 2024 MLB draft, but he elected to return to college for another season. Curley made the All-Atlantic-10 Conference first team in 2024 with VCU, but then transferred to Georgia after the 2024 college baseball season.

Curley was the second Georgia Bulldogs to be selected on the first day of the MLB draft. The Baltimore Orioles drafted Georgia Bulldogs baseball pitcher JT Quinn in the second round.
