Welcome to SportsDay Rangers!
Long-time Dallas Morning News Texas Rangers beat writer Evan Grant has teamed up with Rangers senior advisor and team historian John Blake for a new podcast. Our two hosts bring nearly 70 years of combined experience covering the Rangers to the pod.
Each week, Evan and John will be joined by at least one guest from the Rangers’ past or present. They’ll dive into some historical items, talk about the state of the current team and, most importantly, try to have a little fun.
John and Evan break down the Rangers at the break and a potentially encouraging sign as the All-Star break arrived. But let’s not bury the lede.
Rangers
Josh Hamilton, maybe the greatest single talent to ever put on a Rangers uniform, joins the fellas to reminisce on his 2008 Home Run Derby performance and to catch the guys up on where he is 10 years after his last MLB at-bat. In the Archives in Arlington, John looks at some notable Rangers All-Star Game performances.
