RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – Nevada pitcher Peyton Fosher was drafted by the Miami Marlins in the 19th round of the 2025 MLB Draft.
Taken 558th overall, Fosher is Nevada’s 10th MLB Draft selection since 2019, and fifth over the program’s last three seasons.
Fosher joined Nevada in 2024 after two seasons at Angelina College.
He went 6-4 in 2025, sharing the team lead in wins, and outright leading in strikeouts with 77 and in innings pitched with 76.2.
