The Los Angeles Dodgers are coming out of the All-Star break with the best record in the National League at 58-39.

There’s plenty of room for improvement, though.

“I think the win-loss, the standings are great,” manager Dave Roberts said. “But I think there’s just a lot of improvement that we need to do, we need to be better at.”

Fortunately for them, help is on the way.

The Dodgers have had an entire pitching staff on the injured list all year long. When one player comes back, another seemingly takes his spot.

The Dodgers did get some good news leading up to the break, though, with Shohei Ohtani ramping up at the major league level and Tyler Glasnow making his long-awaited return to the mound.

Shortly after the second half resumes, the Dodgers are expecting a few more reinforcements to join the team, as both Blake Snell and Blake Treinen are on rehab assignments and nearing a return.

Blake Snell Injury Update

Snell made his second rehab start on Tuesday in Arizona, pitching three innings. He’s expected to make one more rehab start before returning to LA potentially by the end of July.

Blake Treinen Injury Update

As for Treinen, he’s already made three rehab appearances, and could also return to the team before July ends.

Roki Sasaki Injury Update

As for some of the longer-term injuries, right-handed rookie pitcher Roki Sasaki is finally making progress, and could return to the team before the end of August.

Michael Kopech Injury Update

Right-handed reliever Michael Kopech, who underwent surgery to repair a torn meniscus, is also targeting a late-season return.
