STURGIS, SD – The origin of American Legion baseball can be traced back to Milbank, when the program was established on July 17, 1925 during the South Dakota American
Legion Convention.

The Sturgis Post 33 Titans marked the 100 year anniversary by hosting Watertown Post 17 on Thursday in a doubleheader at Strong Field.

Sturgis committed some costly errors and Watertown won both games by score of 11-1 and 17-7.

The Titans will wrap up the regular season on Friday with a two games at home against Aberdeed starting at 11 a.m.
