As a junior in 2021 at Holy Spirit, Cohen hit .410 with 19 RBIs and batted .300 as a freshman.
Cohen was also the quarterback for the Spartans football team and won the state title as a sophomore and junior.
I got the chance to coach Cohen in both Ventnor and with the 13U Atlantic Shore All-Star team that advanced to the Babe Ruth World Series in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Cohen was a key member of that 2017 Mid-Atlantic Regional championship team, playing left field and getting key outs as a relief pitcher. As a 14-year old his team would go on to win the Babe Ruth World Series in Eagle Pass, TX in 2018.
His parents, Trevor and Laura, and his brother Gavin, who plays for Holy Spirit, have been big supporters every step of the way.
