For the first time since 1964, a Philadelphia Phillies player won the Major League Baseball All-Star Game Most Valuable Player Award.
Kyle Schwarber’s dramatic performance to win the 2025 MLB All-Star Game earned him the ASG MVP Award. He joins Johnny Callison as the only Phillies players ever to win the award from Baseball’s Mid-Summer Classic.
The Phillies, who have a 55-41 record, hold a half-game lead over the New York Mets atop the National League East. Schwarber has been the Phillies’ most productive hitter this season and is second in the NL in Walks (66) and third in Home Runs (30), along with the eighth-best On-Base+Slugging Percentage among all MLB Hitters (.923).

For almost 20 years, Mike’s Seafood Run-Walk for Autism has been hosted on President’s Day Weekend in Sea Isle City. The annual event raises money to help support causes that help Children and Adults with special needs.
