DALLAS — Texas Rangers fans who want to support flood relief efforts for the Central Texas community will now have a chance to get some new swag while doing it.

The team will be selling a “Together For Texas” T-shirt throughout its series against the Detroit Tigers this weekend.

Fans can get a shirt with a minimum donation of $25. The shirts will be located at the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation Room near section 112 when the gates open until 90 minutes after the first pitch.

All proceeds will go toward relief and recovery efforts in the Hill Country following the deadly floods in early July. At least 135 people have died across the state and over 100 are still missing.

This isn’t the first time the Rangers have donned flood relief apparel. During the team’s last series against in-state rival the Houston Astros, both teams wore “Together For Texas” shirts that featured both teams’ logos during practice.

The Rangers also partnered with country musician Pat Green to put on a benefit concert at Globe Life Field on Wednesday. The concert was livestreamed and raised over $1 million.

The team also announced they would provide $1 million for short-term and long-term flood recovery efforts, joining other professional sports teams across the state in pledging money for the hard-hit region.
