Springfield, IL. (WICS) — Ahead of his college baseball journey, we caught up with now SHG alum and 2025 2A State Champion Andy Antonacci. Andy was one of two seniors, alongside Tommy Lauterbach, to help lead the Cyclones to the program’s third state championship. Antonacci is now heading to Heartland to both pitch and hit. Heartland captured their first national championship in 2023, which included Ben Hartl from Springfield High, Sam Antonacci from SHG, among other Central Illinois standouts. Andy talks about his career, the state title, and his prep for that next step.
