Royals promotions and themes: Here’s when you can get special bobbleheads, prizes this season

It wouldn’t be baseball season without some fun promotions, and Kauffman Stadium and the Royals will be offering plenty this year. Fans will have more than 60 opportunities to take part in some fun experiences and giveaways. One bobblehead collection fans might not want to miss is the 2015 World Series collection. There will be four opportunities to snag a special champ bobblehead featuring four Kansas City icons: April 26 — Mike Moustakas, first 20,000 fans June 13 — Alex Gordon, first 20,000 fans July 11 — Eric Hosmer, first 20,000 fans Sept. 19 — Salvador Perez, first 20,000 fans There will also be a special George Brett and Bret Saberhagen bobblehead celebrating the 1985 championship on May 16. This is a theme ticket offer and only people who purchase a theme ticket will receive a bobblehead. Along with the special championship bobbleheads, there is also a collector card series, where the player is coming out of a baseball card. There will be three opportunities to take these home: April 6 — Vinnie Pasquantino, first 15,000 fans July 8 — Cole Ragans, first 15,000 fans Aug. 29 — Bobby Witt Jr., first 20,000 fans Also, Bobby’s Record-Breaker Bobblehead will be available June 14 to the first 20,000 fans.
