The Dodgers homestand of midwestern hospitality continues Monday night, with the Minnesota Twins coming to Los Angeles to open a three-game series at Dodger Stadium.

Shohei Ohtani will make his sixth start on the mound for the Dodgers, having pitched three scoreless innings in his last appearance, on July 12 in San Francisco. Dustin May, having already surpassed his major league career high in innings for a season, will follow Ohtani at some point in bulk relief.

Counting the majors, minors, and postseason, May’s professional innings high was 144⅔ innings in 2019. He’s at 94⅓ innings in his 17 starts this season.

David Festa starts for the Twins, one of three right-handed starting pitchers on the slate for Minnesota during this series.

The Dodgers are 16-11 (.593) in interleague play this season, including 10-5 at Dodger Stadium. This series against the Twins is the Dodgers’ 10th of 16 series against American League teams this season, and starts an all-interleague week for Los Angeles, who heads to Boston next weekend.
