The Arizona Diamondbacks have signed each of their top two 2025 draft picks, shortstop Kayson Cunnigham and right-hander Patrick Forbes, agreeing to deals that landed at or near their picks’ slot values, a source confirmed.

Cunningham, a prep shortstop drafted out of Johnson High in San Antonio, received a bonus of $4,581,900, the full slot value for where he was selected at No. 18 overall.

Forbes, a college pitcher out of Louisville, received $3 million, a little below the slot value of $3,191,100 for the 29th overall pick.

The club is expected to announce the signings on Monday, July 21.

MLB.com’s Jim Callis was the first to report the signings.
