HOUSTON, TEXAS (WBTW) — Following a trip to the College World Series finals last month, Coastal Carolina baseball is set to participate in a tournament at the Houston Astros’ Daikin Park next season.
The Chanticleers will participate in the 26th annual Astros Foundation College Classic, which features 2025 SEC champion Texas, 2022 national champion Ole Miss, 2025 Super Regional participant UTSA, Baylor, and Ohio State. The three-day tournament will take place Feb. 27 to March 1.

The tentative schedule has Coastal Carolina kicking off its weekend action Friday night against Texas before facing UTSA on Saturday and Ole Miss on Sunday morning.
Four members — first-rounder Caden Bodine (30th overall), third-rounder Jacob Morrison (94th overall), ninth-rounder Riley Eikhoff (256th overall) and 18th-rounder Matthew Potok (551st overall) of the Chanticleers’ 2025 runner-up squad were selected in the MLB Draft earlier this month. The four selections marks the most for the school since 2019.
