Oregon State southpaw Matthew Boyd struck out 11 batters and picked off two baserunners in a complete-game victory over Indiana baseball in a 2013 Men’s College World Series elimination game. Fast forward to 2025, Boyd was named a first-time MLB All-Star for the Chicago Cubs.
