Former Mississippi State pitcher Konnor Pilkington has gone from the Bulldogs to another chance in Major League Baseball with the Washington Nationals.

For the first time during his Washington Nationals tenure, Pilkington pitched for the Major League Baseball squad on Tuesday night. In two innings of relief, Pilkington allowed no hits, runs or walks and struck out three batters and left with a 6-1 lead against the Cincinnati Reds. The Reds went on to win by that score.
