CLEVELAND — The Guardians are again above .500 for the season after beating the Baltimore Orioles, 3-2, July 23 at Progressive Field.
The Guardians have now won 11 of their last 13 games to get to 51-50 through the first 101 games of the season, which includes a 5-1 record since the All-Star break.

Guardians beat the Orioles to win 11th game out of last 13
Emmanuel Clase worked a 1-2-3 ninth to earn the save, and the Guardians have beaten the Orioles, 3-2, to notch their 11th win out of their last 13 games. They’re also 5-1 since the end of the All-Star break.
The Guardians are again above .500 at 51-50.
Steven Kwan puts Guardians on top vs Orioles
Steven Kwan has given the Guardians the lead in the eighth. After a Bo Naylor double put the go-ahead run in scoring position, Kwan singled to center field to score him and put Cleveland ahead, 3-2.

That was just the fourth hit of the night for the Guardians, but Cecconi, Enright and Gaddis (who pitched the top of the eighth) have made it held up thus far.
Guardians, Orioles tied entering 8th inning
Slade Cecconi allowed two runs on five hits and two walks with two strikeouts. Nic Enright entered for the seventh inning, walking one and striking out one.
The Guardians have mustered only two hits, a double by Ramirez and Manzardo’s two-run single.
Cleveland and Baltimore are heading to the eighth tied 2-2.
Jackson Holliday home run ties Guardians-Orioles
This game is tied yet again. In the top of the sixth, Jackson Holliday got just enough of a Cecconi offering to send it over the wall in right field, tying it 2-2.

Kyle Manzardo 2-run single puts Guardians on top vs Orioles
Kyle Manzardo continues to settle into that cleanup spot in the Guardians lineup. After a double by Jose Ramirez put two runners in scoring position, Manzardo brought both home with a single to left-center, putting Cleveland ahead 2-1 in the bottom of the fourth.

Ryan O’Hearn gives Orioles the lead over Guardians
Jordan Westburg doubled off the wall in left-center field and later scored via a Ryan O’Hearn sacrifice fly, and the Orioles have struck first to take a 1-0 lead in the top of the fourth inning.
The Guardians have yet to collect a hit against Eflin.
