Brewers streak ends in Seattle, Misiorowski comments on his early departure

The Brewers winning streak ends in Seattle with a 1-0 loss. Misiorowski comments on his early departure. He was interviewed T-Mobile Park in Seattle on July 22, 2025.

A recent 11-game winning streak has helped the Milwaukee Brewers‘ 2025 postseason chances improve to about 96%, on FanGraphs.

But despite sweeping two series from the defending champion Los Angeles Dodgers in consecutive weeks and soaring up MLB power rankings, Las Vegas oddsmakers at BetMGM have yet to buy the Brewers as serious World Series contenders.

Though they’re 0-6 against the Brewers this season, the Dodgers are the World Series favorites at +250. The Detroit Tigers are second at +750 despite losing nine of their last 10 games.

So where does that put the Brewers, baseball’s hottest team and owners of Major League Baseball’s best record? Certainly not where many fans might think:

Brewers’ odds to win the World Series

The Brewers are at +1600 to win the World Series, eighth among current playoff teams and fifth among National League teams. The Chicago Cubs are tied for sixth overall at +1100.

Brewers’ odds to win the National League

Again, the Brewers have the fifth-best odds to win the league at +800. The Dodgers are at +145. The Cubs are at +550.

Brewers’ odds to win the National League Central

Though Milwaukee leads the division, it’s at +105, behind the Cubs at -135. The teams play eight more times.

Jacob Misiorowski’s odds to win National League rookie of the year

Misirowski is the leader by a slight margin to win the award despite only starting six games this season, at -115. Atlanta Braves catcher and Madison native Drake Baldwin is second at -110.
