Clemson football has been one of the premier programs in the nation for over a decade. It’s managed to win double-digit games 13 of the last 14 seasons, with the one miss coming at a 9-4 clip in 2023.
Yet, it still barely cracks The Athletic’s top 25 most valuable college football programs in the nation.

Clemson lands among the most valuable college football programs
In the latest valuation by The Athletic, Clemson—coming in at No. 22 with a $665 million evaluation—is one of just three ACC programs to crack the top 25 most valuable teams in college football. Texas holds the crown at around $2.38 billion, and Georgia and Ohio State trail close behind, with $1.92 billion and $1.9 billion, respectively.
In addition to sitting behind powerhouse brands from the SEC and Big Ten, Clemson lands behind another ACC school: Florida State. The Seminoles are ranked No. 18 and are valued at $867 million despite failing to reach double-digit wins in six of the last eight seasons. Miami ranks just behind Clemson at No. 24 with a $604 million valuation.
