KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Reading and the Royals. Talk about a double play!
The Kansas City Royals announced a program to help boost children’s literacy called Bring Out the Books.
Beginning on July 25, up to 100 fans can exchange a new or gently used children’s book at each home game for a View Reserved ticket to a game on that same date.
Donors should follow this process:
Before the game, bring your books to Gate E at Kauffman Stadium. The ticket window will open 30 minutes before stadium gates and will remain open until first pitch or until all vouchers have been handed out.Just hand in your book and receive your ticket voucher.
The Royals Literacy League is designed to build excitement around reading and literacy in elementary-aged students in public schools in Kansas City.
