The Padres have reached agreements with all 19 of their picks in this year’s amateur draft.

Notably, the Padres paid well above the recommended value for two high school catchers.

According to Baseball America, fifth-rounder Ty Harvey of Inspiration High School in Bradenton, Fla., agreed to sign for $1.5 million. Truitt Madonna, an 11th-round pick out of Seattle’s Ballard High School, signed for $654,000. Harvey was headed to Florida State before turning pro, while Madonna had committed to UCLA. The recommended slot value for Harvey, based on where he was picked, was $426,600. As an 11th-rounder, there was not a slot value for Madonna.

The Padres announced the signings Thursday; bonus terms were not released.

The club’s signing of first-rounder Kruz Schoolcraft, a left-handed pitcher out of Sunset High School in Portland, Ore., was reported earlier this week. Schoolcraft received $3.6 million to turn pro rather than enroll at the University of Tennessee.

The Padres had an allotted draft pool of $6.56 million. The pool is based on the total slot value for each of a team’s picks in the first 10 rounds. MLB determines what each pick is worth using a formula related to revenue.

The team also announced the signings of 11 undrafted free agents, all of them college players.
